Purchase Information

Congratulations, if you have just purchased a RANGE RIDER truck canopy!

Superior materials are used from materials used from materials supplied to the industry from several parts of the world. Each RANGE RIDER canopy is constructed and designed to give you years of service with little regular maintenance. The following
points will help you maintain and use your RANGE RIDER canopy safely:

(1) Periodically lubricate the shaft portion of the door props to assure smooth prop action,
(2) Spray graphite lubricant sparingly into the window slider channel will help the window slide more freely,
(3) Never drive with the canopy gate (door) open or with passengers in the back as vehicle fumes can be sucked into the truck box area,
(4) Lock your door handles to secure the locking rods or handles in the proper position so your door won't open and move loosely in the door frame causing excessive wearing,
(5) Double check your fastening bolts or canopy clamps periodically for tightness - especially if your unit is taken off and on frequently,
(6) Wash and wax your canopy regularly to protect your exterior finish.

Gel-coat finishes are the colour pigmentation in the exterior surface layer of your canopy.
Although gel-coat manufacturers to the fibreglass industry do add ultraviolet inhibitors to the gel-coat, ultraviolet rays of the sun will cause colours to fade or become "chalky" in appearance if un-maintained. Some slight imperfections in the metallic pattern can also occur. These characteristics however, are not covered by any warranty as they are considered "normal". Should some chalking occur, some gloss may be retained by buffing with a high quality ultra-fine buffing compound and 1 to 2 quality marine wax sealing applications.

Automotive basecoat - clear coat paint finishes are comparable to your truck finish, in that respect, care for it the same as you do your vehicle finish.
